The Waters of Lebanon

Caption: This is a photo taken in 2018 on the coast of Lebanon, showing the nation’s clear waters. These days, even only four years later, it’s much, much more difficult to go to the country and find parts of the sea that are safe and clean enough to go in and swim. With pollution on the continual rise and climate change affecting the ecosystems and makeup of our oceans, oceans and seas such as the Mediterranean Sea are being slowly destroyed– even as bodies that we cannot comprehend can be destroyed.
