Caption: I wrote this poem about an immigration experience of someone close to me, and how immigrants often carry this guilt about the world and the people they left behind: the privilege feels undeserved. It follows the theme “Injustice in Life” because a lot of the life that they knew as a child has changed due to political and ecological factors.
